Multi-Category Sourcing Lists: How We Execute

A mixed sourcing list — storage racks, cleaning tools, small appliances, garden equipment — is how most Gulf and wholesale importers actually buy from Yiwu. This is the real sequence we follow, step by step, from the moment your list lands to the moment goods leave.

Step 1: You Send the List, With Three Numbers Per Line

For every product group, send us three things: target quantity, target price, and the market requirements that matter (voltage, plug type, packaging, labelling, certificate needs for your market). If a line has no target price, say so — we will quote what the market offers rather than guess your budget.

We are a Yiwu-based sourcing agent and export trading company. We buy, compare prices, check goods and arrange export on your behalf; we do not manufacture, and we do not operate a production line.

Step 2: Category-by-Category Review, Then an Honest Reply

We go through the list one product group at a time rather than returning a single blended price. For each line you get one of two answers:

This second answer is the useful one. A mixed list usually contains two or three lines where the requested spec and the requested price cannot both survive, and it is better to learn that before you commit. Where a category sits close to our core range, we can point you to comparable items such as 3-tier storage carts with handle or 21V cordless hedge trimmers so you can see the construction level that a given price band buys.

Step 3: A Live Video Call Before Anyone Books a Flight

You can book a real-time video call with us and look at the goods and their packing on camera — at the Yiwu market, in our warehouse, or at a partner factory. The call is arranged in advance: send the list of items you want to see, and we prepare before we connect.

Practical timing: use this before you book your flight. Confirm the goods and the site on camera first, then decide whether a trip is worth it.

Step 4: Samples, and How the Sample Fee Works

Samples are arranged per line. The sample fee is charged, and then deducted from the order payment once the order is placed. Treat the sample stage as the point where a mixed list gets trimmed: the categories that pass your own checks move forward, the rest are dropped or re-specified.

Step 5: Quotation Terms and Payment

Quotations are issued on FOB Yiwu terms, tax excluded. Payment is by T/T in advance.

Commission depends on order size — contact us for a quote on your specific list.

One boundary worth stating early: we do not provide freight forwarding. We do not book space, issue transport documents, collect freight, handle customs brokerage, or run a consolidation warehouse; you appoint your own forwarder or instruct another party to do so. Our role in the logistics chain is limited to preparing export documents on FOB Yiwu terms and coordinating with the forwarder you designate. Freight rates and transit times should be asked of your own forwarder — we do not quote freight or promise transit times.

Step 6: Inspection Before Shipment — What We Actually Issue

Inspection is arranged at your request. Two distinct things should not be confused:

Our self-check. We may go to the factory, and we issue our own self-check record — photos, video and a checklist. This is a self-check record, not an inspection report.

Third-party inspection. If you want a formal inspection report, that is requested from a third-party agency, at that agency's cost and responsibility. You are free to nominate your own inspection company.

Certificates are issued by the partner factory; we verify the certificates our partner factories provide and check them against your target market requirements. Certificates and test reports are available on request.

Step 7: Visiting Yiwu — By Appointment

Visits are welcome by appointment in advance. Send us the dates you plan to be in Yiwu and the products or factories you want to see; we reply and confirm the arrangements before you travel, and we tell you whether to come to our office address or our warehouse address based on what you want to view.

On the day itself, the working agenda covers: sourcing and matching (you describe the requirement, we match partner factories in China by material, process and price); buying from the Yiwu market, where we are based, drawing on the local market and our nationwide partner-factory network; inspection on request, with our team checking samples and production batches and providing a photo or video self-check record before shipment; export documents prepared on FOB Yiwu terms in coordination with your designated forwarder; visits to the partner factory handling your order, where you may also appoint your own inspection company; and certificates, which come from the partner factory and are verified by us against your target market requirements.

Visits must be booked in advance. We do not keep a photo gallery of the premises; the alternative is the live video call described in Step 3.

Verifying Us Before You Send Money

Two official Chinese channels let you check a supplier's identity yourself, and both are open to overseas buyers.

The national enterprise credit information publicity system publishes registration and filing information, movables mortgage registration, equity pledge registration, administrative penalty information and other information that should be publicised by law; enterprises file an annual report between 1 January and 30 June each year, and a citizen, legal person or other organisation with questions about publicised information may apply to a government department for enquiry, which must reply in writing within 20 working days.

On the customs side, enterprise credit ratings are classified into advanced certified enterprise, certified enterprise, general enterprise, dishonest enterprise and seriously dishonest enterprise; advanced certified and certified enterprises are China's Authorised Economic Operators (AEO), and customs publicises registration and filing information, credit rating determinations, administrative licensing, administrative penalties and joint incentive or disciplinary information. Note the limit: that publicity scope does not include individual export declaration records, and we have not found any official channel offering public per-shipment export or customs declaration lookups.

Where Disputes Go — and Where They Do Not

This matters for B2B buyers specifically. China's market regulation complaint and reporting procedure defines a "complaint" as a consumer dispute arising from purchasing, using or receiving goods or services for daily living consumption needs; a purchase made for resale or business purposes does not fall within that definition and a 12315 complaint may therefore not be accepted. The main official routes for B2B contract disputes are mediation, arbitration and litigation, not the consumer complaint channel.

For cross-border commercial disputes, the CCPIT / China Chamber of International Commerce commercial legal service centre offers services: its mediation centre was approved by the State Council in 1987, covers economic, trade, financial, securities, investment, intellectual property, technology transfer, real estate, project contracting, transport, insurance and logistics, and accepts cases where both parties apply jointly or one party applies alone.

Send the List and We Will Start at Line One

Send your multi-category list with target quantity, target price and market requirements per line. We will come back category by category with what can be quoted as specified and what needs a different specification, and we can arrange a live video call before you commit to travel. Contact us for a quote on your list, or to arrange a visit to Yiwu by appointment.

Policy status note: The visa-free entry conditions described above reflect the official position verified on 16 September 2026. The unilateral visa-free policy (30 days) is valid until 31 December 2026. Under that policy, ordinary passport holders travelling to China for business, tourism, family visits, exchange visits or transit for no more than 30 days may enter without a visa; those who do not meet the visa-free conditions must still obtain a visa before entry, and the duration of stay counts from 00:00 of the day after entry. The 11-country 30-day visa-free group is not a single arrangement: nine countries are covered by China's unilateral visa-free policy (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain; Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay), while the United Arab Emirates and Qatar are covered by mutual visa-exemption agreements. Visa-free entry to China does not require an invitation letter; the invitation letter is one of the application materials for an M (business) visa and is unrelated to visa-free entry. African buyers are not covered by the 30-day visa-free list or the 240-hour transit visa-free list; they normally apply for a business (M) visa, with the invitation letter usually issued by their Chinese supplier or partner.
